On February 19, 2025, the 31st Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) grandly opened at Dubai Harbour, running until February 23. As the largest and most influential maritime industry event in the Middle East, this year’s exhibition themed “Innovation, Luxury, and Sustainability” attracted over 1,000 exhibitors from 55 countries worldwide. The show featured more than 200 yachts and 44 global premieres, gathering renowned brands such as Azimut, Ferretti, Benetti, Damen Yachting, Feadship, Sunreef Yachts, Sunseeker, Absolute, Suzuki, Gulf Craft, Yachts One, and Burgess. With visitor numbers exceeding 38,000, the event further solidified Dubai’s core status as an international capital of yachting and navigation.
As a global hub for superyachts and luxury speedboats, Dubai is witnessing surging demand from high-net-worth individuals for electric vessels that offer silence, zero emissions, and superior comfort. Seizing the dual opportunities of the “green transition” and the “luxury yacht” market, Lilead showcased its core marine lithium battery power systems at the exhibition, significantly boosting its expansion into the Middle East market.
